The
Minicompactor |
| |
| |
|
When placing a waste press at a
large office building, space is often an issue. For
these situations we have developed the Minicompactor. |
|
 |
 |
|
This mini waste compactor can be
placed in a small space somewhere in the building, e.g. in the parking garage, or behind the building
where ordinary trucks wouldn't be able to reach it.
|
|
 |
|
This waste compactor consists of a
small stationary press (MSP500 or MSP700) and a small
3 m³ container. Waste bags can be thrown into the funnel without
having to wait since it has a very short cycle time. |

|
| |
These
compactors achieve a volume reduction ratio of 9:1.
Because of this, 27 m³ of (uncompressed)
waste can be deposited before having to switch
containers. The minicompactor is often equipped with a
cellular modem, so it automatically notifies your local
waste company when it is almost full. |
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
When
notified, the driver of a small truck like the one the
right swaps the full container for an empty one. This
means he only has to drive to your location once.
|
|
| |
This truck has been
especially designed
for swapping minicontainers, and is currently being
used
successfully
in several Dutch cities. It is low enough to enter
parking garages. The driver can also use a small
electric tractor to pull the container into the
building, through doors as narrow as 1.3 meters. |

The containers can also
be transported on a standard skiploader truck. We are
currently developing a small trailer with the same
capacity as the small truck
(mid/end 2007). |
|
|

For longer distances there is also
the option of using a loading crane truck, which can take five
containers.

Types:
The MSP500
is used mostly with
wastebags containing household or office waste.
Same as MSP500, but also used -------for
paper and cardboard.
Extras:
The minicompactors can be
equipped with several optional extras, e.g.
restricted access
and user registration, automatic notification of
transporter by
cellular modem
when full and a side loader for wheelie bins up to 240
liters. |
