PRIVACY STATEMENT
Collecting and using personal data of customers, suppliers and other contractors
We like to inform you that we will collect and use the personal data provided by you because this is necessary to conclude or execute a possible agreement with you. This applies for both our (potential) customers as for parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.
If you are one of our (potential) customers, we will use your data to be able to send you a quotation, to determine which specifications or wishes a certain good or service must meet, to deliver goods or carry out work for you, to invoice you and to quickly and efficiently communicate with you about the execution aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data is also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In case of purchases, this is necessary to be able to inform you which specifications or wishes a certain good or service should meet according to us, to send a quotation request or to place an order with you, to pay your invoices and to quickly and effectively communicate with you about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obliged to provide your personal data to us. However, if you do not provide us any or insufficient personal data, it may be possible that we cannot perform the aforementioned work.
Transfer to third parties
In connection with the execution of any agreement with you, it is possible that we must provide your personal data to parties that supply parts, materials and products to us or perform work on our behalf. Furthermore, we use external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchasing administration, that your personal data is part of. For this reason your personal data is provided to our provider of server space. We also use Microsoft Office and the associated storage options for e-mails and other files. Because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data is finally transferred to the provider of this service.
Direct marketing
If you frequently place an order with us, we will store and use the personal data provided by you to personally inform you in future by e-mail about our existing and new products and services and to send you a possible offer for this. When we use your personal data for this purpose we have a justified interest, namely the marketing of our products and services. Each time that we send you an advertising mailing you have the option to inform us that you no longer want to receive this. Please see the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.
Once you are a customer with us, we will only send advertising messages if you have given us your prior permission for this.
Storage period personal data
If you have requested a quotation from us but you have not become a customer with us, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact. Also if we have received a quotation from you but we have not become a customer with you, your personal data will be deleted no later than one year after our last contact. If you have become a customer with us or vice versa we will store your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreements with you have been fully executed. The period of seven years corresponds to the period in which we are obliged to keep our administration for the Tax Authorities. After this period we will delete your personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to request us to review your own personal data. If there is reason thereto, you can also request us to complement your personal data or to change any errors. In addition, you have the right to request us to delete your personal data or to limit the use of your personal data. You can also object to the collection and use of your data or file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
